                <description>

As the title says, it's time to put an end to the hibernating
period that I've been on for the last 6 months due to
conscription. While I feel that the 6 months I spent in the
    Finnish Defence Forces were
utterly wasted, I have to admit that I was left with a few good
friends and some memories, for better and for worse.

Already this morning I could tell that not much has changed
since I began serving my 6 months in the army, because the
busses were running late as I've accustemed for them to do.

On a more positive note though, there have been some notable
changes as well. Nemein has began using Asgard as the standard,
which was only in the development stages when I left.

Bergie &amp;amp; Jerry have also been developing
a distributed CRM called Ajatus, which I think shows some
promise of becoming something very useful for certain
    audiences.

For me all these changes mean that I've quite a bit of homework
to do, but that's all in a days work - I'm just glad I can
    start using my brains again.

In terms of future I'm hoping to get around to blogging a
little more often than what I have in the past. Anyway, that's
the update on what's up, I'll end this post with a
complimentary picture from November 14th when we had to cross
    some distance in Suomenlahti -
you can judge how cold the water was from the look on my face.

I volunteered to take on the task of revamping the existing
MidCOM icons, which in essence means that I am going to convert
the existing MidCOM icons to resembling icons from the
    Tango Icon
    Gallery.

You can see some of the progress made, with MidCOM's on-site
floating toolbar, pictured underneath. Please keep in mind that
there will most likely be some adjustments made to the choices
    you can see below.

Well, this is it then - the start of my blogging career. All
these years I've managed to keep myself away from the habit of
blogging, but now the end has come to it all and it's my turn
    to start blogging, too.
